STATEMENT Hi All Firstly, a massive, massive thank you to you all for contributing to the success of our events. We are fans ourselves first and do this on top of our full-time careers purely for the enjoyment and to raise money for good causes. This year, the numbers that turned up to KentCon blew us away – a 100% increase on last year which nobody predicted, with us having to turn so many away. We are thrilled to announce you helped us raise over £1000 for Help For Heroes – awesome…. AND we gave our start guest Jamie, via his hospice, an amazing fun-filled day. This is why we do this. To have messages from so many saying we have made dreams come true – ‘sitting in the front row watching “CHiPs” next to Larry Wilcox’ will be with me forever’ was one that stood out! With the growth of the event this has meant we have had to come to the difficult decision that there will be no big comic con in 2027. This will give us the time to plan, prepare and run the event you all deserve. KentCon will therefore be back, even BIGGER, BETTER and LONGER with a 2-DAY Comic Con in 2028. We are about to sign a contract for the venue and will announce the date and time in the next couple of weeks. We had 30 plus guests this year and will be booking some big names, so stay tuned! In the meantime, we will be running some of our fabulous ‘Audience With Events…’ with our good friends The Ashford Cinema where you can enjoy an awesome VIP experience with some amazing guests. KentCon 2026 Statement Hi All Thank you to everyone that attended our charity event today. We wanted to give some feedback on some issues that arose during the day. We were faced with a few technical issues that delayed us opening and the speed of photoshoot printing. These were completely beyond anyone's control, and impossible to plan for. We had a much higher turnout than expected, pre-sales as of last night were only marginally higher than last year with only 200 or so paying then on the day to attend. Today, we had over 800 turn up to pay on the day, at which point we refused any further entry. With feedback last year generally saying please can we have more guests and a better choice of traders, we did exactly this. Knowing this would sacrifice the little parking we had, we looked for a solution and found another parking site with the idea being traders would unload and park off-site, allowing on-site parking for everyone. This was then lost at short notice and we had to allow traders and blue badge holders the on-site spaces. . Last year, with 1000 attending and only 40 spaces on site, we had no real issues with parking locally. Given the expected numbers we did not anticipate any change to this. We can only apologise for any inconvenience caused. Having staffed the event full, eight failed to show today which left us short and having to re-deploy crew at very short notice. There are so many individual pieces that go into putting these events on, you only need one or two technical issues to cause problems. With that all said, we have had hundreds of messages from people who have got to meet some of their heroes today with the European debut of the "CHiPs" cast on top of our other amazing guests. As with anything, we can only do our best. Thank you all.

Guest Cancellations Sadly, we have been just informed this morning that Anita Dobson's filming schedule has changed and as a result she is still in Matla so is unable to attend. She sends her sincerest apologies and we will book Anita for our next show. Christopher Ryan and Carla Mendonca have also been forced to withdraw.
